Bonnie Martin Henderson

A resident of Vineland married 38 years to Francisco Martin Jr, is the mother of 3 children. She is a retired Registered Nurse that worked in Oncology and Hospice care her entire career. She is a certified grief and bereavement counselor and is currently a death doula, assisting terminally ill patients along their personal journey to end of life. Bonnie has been published in the American Journal of Nursing and the Oncology Nursing Society Journal and was a member of the Professional Nursing Speakers Bureau. Since retirement, Bonnie continues to remain active in many activities. She is an avid knitter, sewist, watercolorist and voracious reader. She is also the Chair of the Vineland Democratic Committee and is an ardent supporter of the Democratic platform, especially a woman’s right to choose and the issues around substance use disorder and the social epidemic and health crisis ensuing it.

As Vice Chairwoman for the County Democratic Party, Bonnie has the desire to strengthen and grow the Democratic party in Cumberland County and support the Democratic Municipal Leadership.

Bonnie believes that many hands make light work and is working to reach out to voters who don’t know how to get involved in their party. Her leadership experience and listening skills will serve her well as Vice Chair in Cumberland County.
